We have fifteen bedrooms suitable for families, couples and group bookings (by prior arrangement). Our rooms have been upgraded and all now feature flat screen TV's, en suite facilities and the very best Egyptian cotton bed linen.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Prices

Room prices for accommodation at Dare Valley Country Park, are per room, per night. The room price is calculated by the number of people staying in the room and includes a full English breakfast. Other meals may be provided by prior arrangement. Please call our reception on 01685 874672 for further details.

Reservations

Reservations must be secured by means of a non-refundable deposit of £15 per room, payable when the booking is accepted and confirmed. Reservations can also be made by way of a Credit Card Guarantee.

This will be used to pay any prepayments required for your booking or to pay any other liability which you have incurred during your stay at Dare Valley Country Park, unless you choose an alternative method of payment after your arrival.

N.B. The cancellation policy will apply to all reservations made for accommodation at Dare Valley Country Park.

Group and Corporate Bookings

Group bookings can only be accepted and confirmed by the following methods:

• Full payment in advance
• By official order on company headed paper
• Non-corporate groups can book with a confirmation letter together with a non-refundable 10% deposit of the total cost of the booking, payable when the booking is accepted and confirmed.
• Discounts on Bed & Breakfast are available for groups numbering over twenty, for further details please call reception on 01685 874672.

Cancellation Policy

If a cancellation is made 48 hours or less before arrival then a minimum full single room occupancy supplement will be charged for each room booked for the first night.

In the event of an early check out or refusal to settle an account the Dare Valley Country Park has the right to make a charge for the use of the room or facility used.

Arrival and Departure

Rooms are available from 4pm on day of arrival, earlier check in may be available by prior arrangement please contact reception on 01685 874672 for further details.

All rooms must be vacated by 10am on morning of departure. For individuals or groups that who wish to spend more time in the area arrangements can be made for secure storage of luggage.

Terms and Methods of Payment

Terms

Unless previously agreed, all accounts must be settled before departure. Cheque payments should be supported by a cheque guarantee card.

All accounts will be invoiced at the end of your stay*. Payment is due for all credit accounts on presentation of an invoice.

*Except in the case of company cheques which must be paid in full and cleared by the bank at least 5 day before the arrival date.

Method

Payments can be made by the following means:

• Cash in pounds sterling (UK).
• Most major credit cards eg. Visa, Switch, MasterCard and Delta.
• Cheque or postal order crossed and made payable to "Rhondda-Cynon-Taff CBC".
• Travellers' cheques payable in pound sterling (UK) may be accepted on production of a passport. All travellers' cheques must be countersigned in the presence of a member of the hotel staff. The client must agree to pay the Dare Valley Country Park for any food, beverage, other service or goods not provided in the contract or correspondence, but made available on request of the client during their stay at Dare Valley Country Park.

Smoking Policy

Dare Valley Country Park operates a non-smoking policy in all public areas of the Visitor Centre complex (including the Courtyard).

Pets

Well behaved pets are allowed to stay at Dare Valley Country Park at no extra cost. However guests are requested that they do not allow their pets to lie or sleep on the beds. Guests are also asked to keep their animals under strict control or on a lead if they are walking in the park.

Where pets are considered to be causing annoyance to other park users, management reserve the right to request that they be restrained or removed from the premises.
