Dare Valley visitors have a spring in their step |
|
People of all ages found a new use for wellington boots when they took part in a ‘wellie planting’ day at Dare Valley Country Park, Aberdare.
Visitors as young as three enjoyed a morning painting wellies and then planting the boots with seeds, including radish and lobelia.
The free event was organised and run by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Environmental Education Service at Dare Valley. “Everyone had a great day and enjoyed seeing their finished boots!” said Emma Elliott, project officer for the Environmental Education Service, Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Activities and events for all the family will be held at the Country Park throughout the spring and summer. For more details click here.
